Amazon's new series, NFTMe, initially broadcast in the United States and United Kingdom, explores the culture and impact of the NFT market. The series features collectors, industry experts and artists from across the world sharing their experiences of the market and the impact the new technology has had on their lives.
Throughout the series, Amazon explores the NFT community, highlights the journeys of individuals into the web3 space, breaks down blockchain technology and its uses, and looks at how web2 brands will move into web3, or how they are currently doing so. According to cointelegraph, fifty web3 and NFT pioneers are featured; including Refik Anadol, digital artist for SpaceX and NASA, who describes how an interaction with rapper Eminem 20 years ago sparked his NFT journey; and Queen Diambi Kabatusuila of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who described those in her tribes as having a web3 mindset.
The series includes six thirty minute episodes that will roll-out worldwide on Amazon Prime in 2023, according to Tech Talk. Award winning director of the series, Jonny Caplan, has said that his intention is to create "the MTV of NFTs" and to become a "go-to for information on NFTs in a clear, understandable way."
